THE SACRED HEART FRAME (with optional All-Seeing-Eye)

 

Keeping you inspired with beginner-friendly thematic art/craft projects.

Consider the frame of the month a “mystery box lite” of sorts. It’s a chance to do a make-along with other creatives and to keep curious about the myriad ways we all interpret the frame.

 

The Sacred Heart frame is plasma cut with sturdy 10 gauge steel, then powder coated in a colour of your choice. A removable All-Seeing Eye changes the possible dynamics of the heart you create.

 

Our aim with this frame was to design something with a distinct, ornate outline so that you can ultimately “frame” your work at the same time as you create it. Decorative and functional tabs outline the heart: providing space for weavers to warp in multiple directions.

 

Two options for the frame expand its potential applications:

 

  • Regular Frame: this is the outline (with eye attachment). Perfect for weavers and macra-weavers
  • Frame with Perforated Metal Backing (with eye attachment). Perfect for anyone who wants to attach treasures, scraps, and found items to a robust metal backing. This iteration of the frame is more multidisciplinary and open to makers who are not necessarily inclined to warp and weave their work.
